A south specie, occuring all around the mediterranean. None have been found around Bourges, and this area seems to be the northern limit of the distribution range for France. It's a middle size rhinolophidae, smaller than the Greater Horshoe Bat and larger than the Lesser Horseshoe. Usually found in hot caves, this bats is gregarious. Population has severely declined since the last 50 years all around Europe.
